Hi BlackHatForum members, wish you all a happy and prosperous new year 2013.
This is my first post here. So please guide me if I’m wrong with something.
After reading the title you may be here thinking what this billion dollar bs is all about. Please be a little patience with me and I will try to explain.
First a little bit about myself, I‘m 23, doing Masters in Mass Comm. My boyfriend is an MBA, owns his successful brick and mortar business but he is fascinated with the web. He always talks about how internet has helped simple ideas to grow into giant web services like Hotmail, Wikipedia, imdb, eBay, Google, Wordpress, Facebook, Twitter and 1000s of others like those and how these virtual real estates are valued millions and billions in the real world.
So to say, he too is ambitious to build a “virtual empire” and to begin with, he told me to purchase valuable domain names in the various niches. I did my extensive research and purchased mostly pre-owned aged domains in various lucrative niches. Currently we own over 250 domains (and purchasing more on a daily basis), mostly .com also .net .org .info – most of them are generic niche
keywords with exact searches. Truthfully they are not like multi-million dollar sex.com or so, but according to appraisal done by paid professionals, together they may be worth more than half a million dollars. These domains if developed into websites could be worth 10s of millions of dollars if not billions (nobody knows what could turn to the next big thing, doers always try hoping for the best, but cynics don’t – right?).
Now my boyfriend is very creative, full of innovative ideas with good knowledge of overall web development with scripts, wordpress, seo etc. but he lacks the programming expertise. I and one of my friends are very good with graphics designing stuff but we also lack the programming knowledge.
So we have decided to form a partnership with 7 other ambitious similar minded web entrepreneurs to build a huge network of profitable websites. As an investor and promoter my boyfriend will have 33% stake in this partnership, me and my other friend will have 9% each and we will share 7% with each of our other 7 partners. To further clarify, as a partner you may not have to invest anything but your time, energy and expertise. As I have already discussed, we own hundreds of niche specific domains and purchasing more regularly. We also have a few vps and could purchase more or dedicated servers if needed.
The goal is to develop and keep a few highly profitable websites with great prospects and sell other fully developed websites for a good profit. To achieve that goal we need 2, 3 good programmers, 1, 2 seo experts, 1, 2 web marketers and may be 1 other graphics designer.
As BlackHatForum is almost home to many passionate web developers and marketers and regularly visited by newbies with a passion for web developments who wants to make it big like us, I thought to come here asking for help. If you or any one you know may be interested in such a partnership as discussed above, please let me know and I will provide further details.
Some of you may be asking if you are so sure of making it big, why you don’t invest some more to hire some professionals from odesk or something to skip the trouble of forming a partnership and sharing profits. Well, as I have already disclosed, we are new in this field with big ambitions as many of you, so we want to cut our risks by limiting the initial investments and we need passionate partners, who will give their total commitments to make this venture a success as their own, instead of some freelancers trying to make some quick bucks out of our projects.
I am requesting all you experienced marketers and web developers here to give us your valuable suggestions and let me know if anyone is interested.
P.S. – We have built a web desk for collaborating all our projects among the partners. I will create an account for those who request here so we can discuss about the projects privately. Also if anyone can suggest a good partnership and project management script, we will be really thankful.
