MY OWN SHORT VERSION (not based on the guide):
-Find out about blue screen error messages
-google all BIOS error beep codes

Exchange any part that caused errors (gfx-card, memory, motherboard for controller errors, hard diskfor disk read errors)

For anyone wondering:
It's a 93-page ebook published in 2010, mostly focusing on hardware issues and their repair, also offering some standard software and OS tweaks to improve performance and stability.

Like Johnny63 said, if you encounter a problem, just google the description and you're bound to run into a forum where bunch of people are having exact same problem (especially if it's a Microsoft product :D), saved me lots of time going through ebooks and manuals and helped me 95% of the time.

Ahh...i wrote a book like this myself but about how to remove all PC threats with free software. Had it on CB...
I wish i pursued that and had more affiliates promoting it!
