It does work and my payments details are already in so it is valid for ex-subscribers also just in case you are wondering. All they do is pre-authorize $1.

Next day my account was hacked by somebody who used all the credit phoning Taiwan

Have seen on skype forum this has happened to other peoples accounts even people own money credits being used up

Skype not replacing the lost money, Just telling people to run an antivirus on their account

make sure you close your payment accouint

Persoanlly I wont be using skype again for phone calls. til this is resolved properly
