"WTF (what the fuck)" - it is not insulting statement. It`s just intensive form of WHAT (interrogative, vulgar, slang).
Used to express astonishment, shock, incredulity, or disbelief (as a shortened form of expressions such as "What the fuck is going on?", "...are you doing?", or "...is that?").
Synonyms: what the heck, what the hell.


But, "F ur self and die" - this is insulting expression. I think you should apologize and we forget about it.
