Okay so I hate that sometimes a file won't download and instead display in the browser sometimes (.txt, flv, etc) so typically I will just go to one of my shells and "wget" the file and go retrieve the file via sftp. This little program saves me the hassle of all that and will upon execution will ask you for a url and it will download that url as a file to C:\downloads.

Enjoy.

Think of it as of a download manager!
lol @onelegger - I thought I explained it. So let's say for example you have a link that is a .txt or maybe a .flv extension (on my personal computer) it won't download and will display in the browser (.txt) or if it's a video extension typically it will play in the browser and not dowload. So with this little exe, when you click it - it will ask you for a url (e.g, http://domain.com/file.flv) insert that url into the box and it will auto-download that file for you and save it to C:\downloads.

I hope this clarifies things for whoever was still confused as to what this does.
