to send money there is not a lot of widely accepted alternatives (liberty reserve maybe or bitcoin) - as far as processing payments you have a lot of alternatives such as: Payza (sucks), Google Checkout, Stripe (very cool), Intuit (the people that made quickbooks), 2co (accepts paypal) - just google you can find many more.

Payza (used to be alertpay) why do you say it sucks? I was very happy with alertpay but I havent used them since they became payza so I'm curious what changed?....
