Eliminating competition from Google results using porn

There is a competitive poker term that I manage to usually hold 1 of the top 5 spots (I'm usually number 2) with one of my sites. I don't care to share the term.

Anyway, I just noticed that one of the top 10 results was gone. In response to a legal request submitted to Google, we have removed 1 result(s) from this page. If you wish, you may read more about the request at ChillingEffects.org.

Apparently the site was reported for having child porn. My guess is that this site was simply accessible to spammers and someone abused it and got it shut down. I mean, I can't see someone making money with good keywords doing something stupid (and illegal) like posting child porn.

Here is an example of a notice:

It seems like people could take care of parasite hosting this way. If its a site accessible/vulnerable to everyone, just report the site to Google for child porn. I'm sure (okay, I know- but let's pretend I don't know anything about porn) there are lots of pornstars who look underage. Someone could just take some porn of people of legal age and then post them and be like '16 year olds' or something like that. Would it be enough to get a site removed from Google? I don't know. I find it hard to imagine that there would be a panel of experts who are going to closely examine each photo. I mean, someone could get regular porn, blur the faces and then put a caption that would insinuate they were underage.

Anyway, just some random thoughts.
