More than likely the 100k emails are not yours.. so why use them? That is SPAM and is illegal. Out of a shared 100k email list, you may get maybe 100 people to click the link in your email (open rates are inaccurate because 3/4 of them aren't tracked due to blocked images by default). Since you have to trust built, and its spam, you may get 10-20 people to take an action if its a free action.. If your selling a cheap item you may get 2 sales if your lucky.. If the item is over $50 you would be lucky to make 1 sale.. So the question is.. was it worth it, hurting your servers inbox rate by spamming? Stressing your server to kick out all those email? No, it isn't worth it.

The "yeah these must be real people" list should have an autoresponder setup (to make your job easier). Send to them every 3 days average. First 5 emails at least should not be selling, but building trust.. warm them up.. then sell to them.. continue to warm them up.. sell to them.. 1 out of 5 emails should be selling, other than that give them free information. link them to blog posts, give them something cool, bribe them to like you.

Like "Oh you don't have to pay me for that, just let me snag all your leads in your system and from here on out we will share them".
using a special php script, I use cURL to use 1 optin for and they optin to 2 lists at the same time. So when they join my partners list, they also get put into my list.
I absolutely think ANYONE who downloads a list of emails from a website or forum and uses them thinking they are going to work is an idiot and doesn't deserve to make money online.

To answer your question.. open the list in MS Excel. Split it into like 20k chunks..
I don't recommend sending to all 50k at 1 time anyways. If Gmail or Yahoo see 10k emails come in from you within the past say 6 hours.. they may just send your ass right to spam no questions asked. so thats a waste!

For IEM.. I setup a plugin to run every 24 hours at midnight. What it does is, it searches my main lists and finds anyone who opened or clicked the email and moves them into another list of mine.
For right now, I just clean my list manually.. So when i know I have sent a handful of emails the past few weeks and feel comfortable removing them if they havent done anything, i just search for leads in that list older than 1 month, and delete them.
I want make a plugin also that runs every so often (not sure weekly, monthly or what yet). have it search for all leads who are older than say 1 month and have received at least 10 emails, and delete them. Giving them both time and opportunity.
Creating these plugins are on my TODO list, and I haven't fully worked out the details on how I want it to work yet.. but just saying, this is an idea of how to keep your email list clean.. Your killing yourself, server, inbox rates, ect. by emailing to people for 6 months over and over and over again, that never do anything.. I keep small lists, but they are cleaned and fine tuned to the max!
If I never deleted anyone, I would have probably 600k leads.. but I clean my lists all the time, and I have currently I think about 40k leads in my bulk list. I have various other lists, but have about 30k leads of people who have done something within the past few months! I get like 500+ opens and about 200 clicks every time I send to that list! I got about 500 of them at least to join my GetResponse list (which I removed them from my IEM list!)

They finally refunded my money but was a waste of time. Maybe for small lists may be ok. But I did not see any increase in import speed. I run IEM with all the moborak addon's. Also there is a place I found awhile back you can edit in the code of the import page that will batch in larger amounts. I believe it is set to 100 now. I pushed it up to 1k and was a very big difference.
