They suck anyways so don't worry too much.
Use Interspire. Stay away from version 6+.. get the highest version 5 you can.. I think its 5.9. I have used both, and need to revert my v6 back to v5.. Starting with 6.0 they changed the way IEM grabs emails from the database. Apparently for people on S***** web hosting, some people had issues doing database queries every 5 minutes (or however often your cron job ran). So they changed it to grab 500 per batch. The issue is, for some reason that is all it does, then it skips the next couple of runs.. I have a badass server to say the least, and I have my email rate set to unlimited (normally 5k/hour but unlimited for testing this glitch), so it should send out my full blast to my test list of 10k emails all within 1 hour.. well it was doing about 500 an hour! It was pulling the hardcoded 500 emails from the database, then not sending for an hour! I changed the hardcoded value to 2k and it started sending 2k/hour.. I tested this on 3 different servers from different hosts, same thing!
It seems that version 6 does not respect your "hourly email rate" which you set in the settings. If you have unlimited, it still sends 500/hour.. if you set it to 1k/hour it still sends 500/hour.. if you set it to 100000/hour, it still sends 500/hour..
I never had this issue on version 5! If I set it to unlimited, it kicked out ALL my emails (even 30k of them) within the hour! If I set it to 5k/hour then it was sending 5k an hour until the blast was done!
I have not looked up or tested if version 5 supports DKIM signing and SPF, ect.. all that good stuff for optimal inbox rates. So double check that.. For me, if it doesn't then I will modify/hack version 5 to support it by stealing the features off version 6..
SPAMMING IS ILLEGAL, STUPID, and R*******! Just don't spam man it isnt cool. Unless your sending millions of emails, it really isnt going to make you very much money anyways! Nobody likes a spammer, and you will just run into problems.. server getting on the blacklists, spam complains and hosting shutting you down, ect.. its not worth the hassel unless you can get a solid bulletproof hosting solution (VERY EXPENSIVE!) and can get a fresh 100k to 500k emails a week to send to... You gotta do huge volumes.. If you did that, best thing would be to funnel those people who respond into your legit whitehat mailing lists on another server seperate..
