Easier said than done. For a torrent, original seeder should have decent upload speed, which automatically excludes the most of the people on ADSL. Fortunatelly my UL speed is the same as my DL speed, so I can pull it out. Though I don't intend to seed it forever. Some solidarity among users is expected. I also switch of my PC during the night.

Fast upload speeds have never been a requirement for me... I estimate I have uploaded about 40GB in torrents in 2012 on a plan that caps me at 25 KB/s...
