That's how I started thinking when I first got into Internet Marketing. I found Internet Marketing so exciting that I knew it was for me. I just didn't know how all these big gurus were doing it.

I was already into website design and made a few bucks here and there doing that as a service, so I knew I could do that part. I figured I would spend a few bucks and buy some of the make money online packages that were filling my inbox on a daily basis.

I did figure out how to make money online. I also figure out how to grow my business is several directions. Most of what was working for me had nothing to do with the stuff that these gurus were trying to pitch to me.

I found my own methods, and refined them. I had a lot of failures, and some really big successes. What I started to notice was that there seemed to be a few patterns emerging when I was having those successes.

There were things I was doing that seemed to make a difference. But, not just a little difference.

A BIG Difference !

Some things seemed to be working really well, while everything else seemed to not work at all. Not one bit.
So, I decided to start applying the things that did work to all my offers, sites and products. After refining the methods that were working for me, I was eventually able to boil them down into working formulas.

I started ignoring all the stuff those gurus were pitching to me and went with what was working. Now years later I have myself a six figure income, and I live the way I want to.

I help people because I can, and it feels good. I don't have to worry about my hydro bills anymore, and the more I give, the more I get. I have nothing to complain about.

Before I did this, I was a Jack of all trades. My main job was a mechanic. I worked on heavy duty equipment, and I risked my life and limbs each day for about $12 per hour.

I knew it was only a matter of time working that job before I chopped off a finger or got some sort of life long injury. So, I made some changes in my life and got a good job teaching music. I had played guitar all my life, and had got rather good, but didn't know how to teach.

But I Learned How !

It was up to me to educate people. The only problem was that guitar is actually pretty darn difficult. So, a lot of my students were short tempered, and didn't have the patience to "see it through". This was largely due to the MTV videos and games out there making people think that guitar looks easy, so it must be easy.

I see that same trend in Internet Marketing. The gurus make it look easy, so therefore it must be easy. Right ?
Well, just like learning guitar. It's not that simple. The good news is that I actually learned how to teach by being a music teacher for all those years.

I learned that everyone has a different learning curve, and that almost everyone takes a different approach to learning the same techniques and methods.
