Hey MirrorMan! Did you ever try to view a thread from Google's cache?

@admin Google cache shows all links included between [ hide ] tags!

So, if a 'mole' really wants to take down links, he only needs to wait about 8 hours and fetch them from the Google cache.

Can we have our own short-url redirector for logged-in users only? This is the best link protection I know of.
