This file is version 1 of the Samson plug-in, it does not need nulling as it does not ask for any details.
I hope this is the latest version, it does not say there is any available update for it.

i don't know what that code do, but you can delete that code.

I don't code but looked up the extra "strange code" on line and found this:
"CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT The number of seconds to wait while trying to connect. Use 0 to wait indefinitely."

No idea what it means but someone will come through with the answer - maybe its better to change the 10 to a zero rather than removing it. Can someone reply?

It has a short link in that code so it could be stealing traffic, not that it is much use cos if you test the link it's dead now and goes nowhere. It still looks like it is something you do not need or want inside if you are running it on your site.
