Here's another one.
It does not have the training videos but has the wp website backup and a plugin to install the website with and also has a whole bunch of pdf which appear to be case studies and a bunch of spread sheets which appear to be all the deals sites etc. Worthwhile if you were going to do this as it certainly would help piece it all together better.
The process seems to be you act as the consultant so you charge the business nothing up front and you organize the deal with the deal site and screw them hard for a good percentage for your client (local business) and then you take a 10% cut of the businesses profits. So you get a 60% deal for the business and then you get 10 % so they end up with 50%. Which is probably what they would have got if they had done it themselves as the deal sites normally push for at least 50% for themselves unless you ride them hard for a good deal. Also apparently the deal site reps are pushed hard to get 15-35 or or more deals per month to get higher commissions so once they know you can bring them deals they ring you to see if you have any new deals for them.
Obviously there are the obvious upsells to the business for ongoing income such as websites mobile sites etc. If I was doing this then I would make sure the business gets all the clients into an email responder or sms and then I would charge them a maintenance fee to manage the emails or sms marketing for them and also include that I have the rights to mail those same lists as well and use it once a week to mail good cpa offers like $100 subway cards or Victoria Secrets gift cards given the high ratio of women that use deal sites.
UPDATE:
I have already got my mate a jeweler interested in doing this. I mentioned one of the case studies where a jeweler offered 2 topaz stud earings on a deal site for $9 and sold over 100,000 of the deals. The mark up in jewelery is insane. My mate can get genuine pearl bracelets with certificates for $2.95 each and they retails at $50. He is contacting the supplier to see if they will drop ship them if we run a deal.
He knows many wholesale jewellers and I think I can create a 100K per year with just him and his contacts, both jewelers and wholsalers. The beauty of the whole system is you only need 20 or less clients to do 6 figures per year. And that can be just 20 small businesses, where you do 4 deals sites 4 times per year for them. And once the deal is done the first time to repeat the deal is just a simple phone call to the deal site rep as they have all the info they need to run the deal again.
Worth a look. The course is $900 but the principles are dead simple and can easily be worked out with just the pdfs.
My biggest challenge is to not make it to complicated LOL as it is so simple I keep wanting to make a better wheel instead of just rolling it
