Just wiki backlinks alone won't help you to rank your site. It depends upon what kinda gaming forum you've and what keywords are you targeting. You need backlinks from multiple platforms and the anchor texts of your backlinks should have more LSI and generic keywords. Like Liberox said, Get some social bookmarks,article directory backlinks and web 2.0's to see some improvement.
