A note from Dave
We still get a lot of questions about what exactly the GenAI Launchpad is, and that makes sense. It’s hard to compare because there’s nothing quite like it. Most developers try to map it to a framework, a course, or a boilerplate, but Launchpad sits somewhere in between: a complete production-ready AI starter kit that gives you everything you need to build and deploy real AI applications.
It includes a FastAPI backend, task queue and workers, vector database, Postgres, authentication, file processing, background jobs, evaluation hooks, and Docker deploy scripts. Everything is wired together and ready to ship. It’s opinionated but flexible, designed to save you weeks of setup while still giving you full control.
If you’re looking for mental models, think of it as a mix between a clean FastAPI boilerplate, a Celery and Redis worker setup, Supabase + RAG, and a starter MLOps scaffold.
