• This isn't ChatGPT, this gives you GPT 5 access which is the same model used by the paid version of ChatGPT (the free version gives you gpt 5 mini).
• You'll get an API key that you can use with tools, which you wouldn't get with free chatgpt for gpt5
• How it works is you access another platform, use the promo offer (no cc/payment needed) and then you can use the chat interface that looks like chatgpt or the api
• It has tons of other paid LLM models as well, which is pretty neat
