@Kryptyk: My answer to your question is "No, you cannot override a set price to get the download."
The entire point of all 3 of my Gumroad Goodies shares was to show BBHF users how to grab goodies that are already on offer as a freebie by the Gumroad content creators themselves. So, you would be looking for Gumroad sites (using the keyword search I provided) that allow you to type in $0.
The product on the Gumroad link you posted goes for $99 (reduced from the original $145). You would need to see a price set by the content creator as $0 in the price field or the words: Name Your Price (which may also allow you to type in $0) to get the file(s) for free.
Now, someone with "other-worldly" hacking skills, such as SlenderMan may be able to help with what you are trying to get. You could post a REQ thread and hope he sees it. He has already shared many "at cost" Gumroad files, so he knows how to do what you're asking me about. Just be sure to include the link you provided. Others may boost your REQ by bumping it up and he may end up providing it.
