Hi Is there a way to sort threads by Thread Creation date
not by the last post ,
I want to see the new posts at first not the last comment
thank you.
At the bottom of each forum section are 3 dropdown selection boxes. The left one will let you do this.
thank you Vmax

now can you please tell me how to delete this post
sorry I'm new here
Yes, the solution that Vmax posted is the right one. I just need to add a little extra information for anyone that may need it.

The left text input field is set by default to: SORT BY: LAST POST.

You will need to change it to this option - SORT BY: CREATION TIME

Additionally, you will need to add a few keywords that describe the posts you want to see.

In the image above, you would type those keywords in the text input field next to: Search this Forum:

Lastly, click the GO button. There is no guarantee you will get what you're looking for or anything at all.

You can use a niche keyword (ex: copywriting) or a date (if you are searching for a post made on a specific date). You may need to try several different ways to get results.

Without adding the keywords underneath your sort options, you will get no results in at all.

Furthermore, you can change the default (second dropdown button) from ORDER: DESCENDING to ORDER: ASCENDING based on how you want to view the posts (firsts posts to last posts or vice versa) on the thread and the third sort option for the timeframe when the post was created.

I also saw where the original poster asked how to delete a post.

You can't.

The forum does not give us the ability to delete our own posts but you have a couple of options to get rid of something you posted on a thread but no longer want to see published:

#1 - Contact a forum moderator to ask that your post be removed. Reach out to lala via PM to ask her to remove your post. I could be wrong here, but I don't know how she would remove a post from a thread unless it was the original post, in which case, the entire thread would be removed. That's option 1.

#2 - Edit your post. In my opinion, this is the best option because you're in control. You don't need to wait for a moderator to see your PM and do anything. Just click the little EDIT tag beneath your post (it's on the bottom-right) then go into the text editor and remove everything you've written.

CAUTION: Since you won't be able to post a blank post, you will need to replace what you removed with something else. Any brief statement will do.

For example, I always type a generic note so that anyone reading the post will know that I edited my own post to remove what was there. Here's a phrase you can use:

PREVIOUS POST REMOVED BY USER.

That (to my knowledge) is the fastest way to remove a post without waiting on a moderator to get involved. Just remember you need to replace it with something or it will not work. Use my suggested phrase or any few words of your own.

I hope this helped.
thanks, Vmax and Layna for the help.
I really appreciate it.
thank you.
You should not remove or get the post deleted.....

As it may be information users might need.

yeah, I will not remove it Wrath.
I will let it be here to benefit the rest of humanity.
thank you.
@Layna: I don't know why you added this-
"Additionally, you will need to add a few keywords that describe the posts you want to see."

I always leave the search box blank and I get the results I want.
