Envato cut 50% of our earning if you've not crossed 50k (or similar) selling limit.
Maybe they tested the potential of their app and now selling it exclusively on/via their own website.

I think the main reason is they are very confident to run their own business with independently instead under Envato, not just because change their brand.

The guy tested his app on Envato, made a success and now is selling a monthly subscription product for app creation. I think it's the next logical step for him. It's a good tool so he stands a chance to make a good business out of it.
