The identifying marks of a blog network post are as follows:

Terrible content and a boring template; you find yourself asking, "Why would anyone ever subscribe to this blog?"
Topics are jumped, unrelated to the site's theme, and categorization is poor.
There is rarely an about section, author name, or means of contact.
Lots and lots of exact-match anchor text seemingly pointing to sites at random.
Posts tend to be 400-500 words with 2-3 links per post - generally all to the same site.

There are three things I focus on when I am trying to generat erevenue online...
1. Create good solid content with purpose
2. Do not be greedy and try making money too fast
3. Focus on traffic and not link building - Doesn't mean that you should not do link building.You should do but in a polite way.Google is like a newly married girl

I have heard many instances that people who uses blog networks now getting their sites deindexed. In fact many of those that I've seen are using thin spunned articles to get links, if you were google you wouldn't allow these to appear on the search because of SEO. The bad thing about blog networks is that there are too many irresponsible spammers who just wants to get links, and they will spam with a passion by creating huge amounts of garbage content by spinning.
