I just saw an old thread where members are posting for re-ups of Danny Iny's Write Like Freddy. Here's the thread:

I thought I'd come to their aid with this share.

I also saw a post asking "Who the hell is Freddy?"

Well, I found the back-story on that, too.

It just so happens that Danny Iny was once called the "Fredddy Krueger of blogging" in his earlier days online because he wrote so many guest blog posts that someone associated him with the horror character, who was "he was everywhere."

Krueger mostly haunted people in their dreams.

If you remember, the character of Freddy Krueger was played by actor Robert Englund. He was the a horribly disfigured man who became a killer, terrorizing teens in a small town in the Nightmare on Elm Street horror movie franchise.

Anyway, I don't get the association between a copywriter and a horror movie character but that's the true story behind Iny's course title.

But don't take my word for it. Here's how Iny, himself, tells about the genesis of being tagged "the Freddy Krueger of blogging":
