There is a lot of noise out there regarding "mindfulness," which is excellent on the one hand. But on the other hand, they don´t explain it adequately to new practitioners and sometimes leave people hanging. Without fully understanding mindfulness, it can be pretty daunting to practice it. It happened to me when I was in the corporate field. There was a time when I was running on autopilot in my work and did not notice much around me. I had lost touch with myself as I was too focused on getting the next promotion and getting ahead in my career.
