For those of you on that thread wondering if my birthday was actually on June 24th...it was. So I thank you all for the digital love.
I appreciate it so much!
In fact, to demonstrate that appreciation, I wrote a little poem of gratitude that goes to each of you...
June 24th has come and gone (I even got a BIRTHDAY thread!);
I'm one year older, feeling fine, for aging causes me no dread.
As for what NUMBER age I am - don't bother asking; I won't dwell;
It has been said so many times: "A lady never, ever tells!"
For all I need is health and strength and sustenance to get me through,
And kindly gestures of gratitude from forum friends, like all of you!

NOTE: I tried posting this to the thread five times and each time the message disappeared, and I was returned to mehere001's original post. It's almost like I am forbidden to post there --- so I posted something elsewhere on BBHF, in response to someone thanking me for a share. And, to my relief, that post showed up on that thread just fine.
I even sent a couple of PMs to mehere001 asking about it; thinking that maybe there's a special setting that keeps me from posting because the thread is in honor of my B-day (haven't heard back yet) but I didn't want to appear to be ignoring all those kind birthday wishes. So I ended up creating a totally new message to thank everyone who posted because, well ... I insist on having my say.
