I just came across this website which is having a promo for .org and .net domains. Domain registration fees for the first year are just $1. You can also get a .com domain for $5.
BTW, I am not an affiliate or associated with this website.
Code:
https://www.ionos.com
The offer is still ongoin but you have to add up a one-time Fee of $3,795 each purchase so it's not exactly $1 per domain even though I think it's still a good offer.
Thanks for sharing!
Hello friends
Ionos and 1&1 are the same bullshit provider.
First of all when you buy a domain you are not the proprietary of the domain.
They keep the ownership and your domain and your website can be on fire at the push of a buttom.
I think that it is better to pay a little more and keep our independancy.
See by yourself outside. There are namecheap, godaddy or ghandi and others.
EXACTLY what John010 said !!!

AVOID !! AVOID !! AVOID !!
Kudos for sharing spirit to Sikandar all the same.
(And BTW=> I tried one of their 'specials' and lost a valued domain for a year after that 'cuz they owned it.)
Thank you Lumos for the warning, I usually buy my domains from name.com as they have a coupon PRIVACYPLEASE for getting free privacy and it works with renewals too,
Namecheap has (thus far) been best for me and their domain privacy is 100% free forever.
I've dabbled with many and even stayed with godaddy for a while - but then their pricing went up, their support got really bad and the endless upsells finally got me to quit them.
Ghandi was just OK.
What I really have enjoyed were the NC 88 cent domain sales and they still have some great specials from time to time.
Unlike Ionos / 1&1 - NC is 100% fine with transfers to other registrars and even changes of ownership.
Their site is very secure too.
2+ y/o OP !!!
Can't members here read anymore ?!?
