This is stuff I have been doing for a long time. What I like about it is that it is all about taking responsibility for your own life. Building a vision of what you want your life to be like and then going out and getting it.

I have talked to many people during my career. Family, friends, clients, and the general public. Most of these people have zero idea about where they are heading, what they want in their lives.

Ask most of those people what their goals are and you mostly get no answer. Once in a while you get the "I want a new car" type of answer... Very rarely do I come across someone that has a bigger vision of what they are doing and where they are headed.

The few that do have these goals get a lot more satisfaction in life and a lot more success.

When I say success, I do not mean money (although it can mean money). I am talking about what it is in your life that you want to accomplish.

Everything starts with a vision of what you want. For me, the worst thing in life is NOT having that vision... Because if you do not, for sure society will provide you with one. This to me is why so many people are unhappy in life. They have a vision that has been provided for them and are not really following their own heart.

It's time to Wake Up To Life.

You are EXACTLY right-

Even the Good Book says that "My people perish for lack of vision-"

I think the biggest challenge for people is-

They are TOO EASILY "SATISFIED"- Give most people a beer, a pizza, and a good show to binge watch, and they are CONTENT-

"TEMPORARILY" anyway- Certainly NOT for the Long-Term-

They are Satiated, but like a substance abuser/addict, the withdrawals eventually come where they have to go back to facing their reality, which in this case is PURE DRIFTING (a la Napoleon Hill in Outwit the Devil, get it here on BBHF) and aimlessness- Which to me anyway, and everyone if they're honest about it, is probably as painful a state as any of us could ever be in-

Pure PURPOSELESSNESS- (I THINK that's a word!)

So again Excellent point Gordon, about the inestimable value of having a DIRECT, FOCUSED PURPOSE and VISION-
