Hi, I found this on Twitter (believe it or not) and it linked back to a Reddit thread. These are Screencast videos (voice over text) so they aren't great but I think the info is quite good. If you're thinking about copywriting for a living this would be a good place to start. Unfortunately, the last video requires a password and I haven't found it yet. I make around $300,000 a year as a freelance copywriter. My sister recently lost her job and I'm teaching her copywriting from scratch. Thought I'd share the videos I'm making and sending her.

Like the title says, my sister lost her job after over a decade of working with a particular company. She wants to start making money online because -- frankly -- that job was killing her with stress.

I have been working solely online during that same decade. She's kind of seen me go from broke freelancer to making a mid six-figure income while traveling and asked me to teach her.

So this was a really unique challenge -- can I teach my older sister to be a six-figure copywriter from scratch? And do it in about 6 to 12 months?

So far I've been making her instructional videos and taking her through the process from scratch.

9:31 - 18:55: The value of short copy, why everybody is so desperate for it, how much you can get paid, what people use it for, and why it's a great way to break into this industry in general.

18:55 - 31:15: Meet James, who cold emailed us and did it PERFECTLY. If you can copy what he did, you'll be successful in finding new clients (or even just your very first client). NOTE: He DID NOT share a portfolio! He pretty much did exactly what I suggest on my previous video!
