This great Book of the Ancient Prophet Enoch is not part of the biblical canon used by Jews, apart from Beta Israel (Ethiopian Jews). While the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church consider the Book of Enoch as canonical (and they preserved this great book in the ancient amharic etiopian language called Geez)! The majority of Christian groups regard it as non-canonical or non-inspired, but many may accept it as having some historical or theological interest!
Nevertheless many and many more christians and jew-christians consider this Book as the original Book of the Prophet Enoch inspired by God for many reasons; specially because this Book was directly refered by Judah disciple of Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) in his letter! and because it was many times directly refered this Book of the Prophet Enoch as Scriptures by the first christians and fathers of the faith in the first 4 centuries of christianism (in many texts known at teology as patristic writings)!
