@All: I appreciate all the kind posts. Enjoy the share, everybody!
@StillStanding: I know the feeling, friend. My New Orleans Saints are moving in the wrong direction this season and I'm really bummed about it! I waited all off-season to thoroughly enjoy football it seems this team has been snake-bitten with all the hurdles thrown in their way. With everything from displacement from a hurricane and having to play elsewhere to player suspensions to injuries to COVID-19 to losing our starting QB (Brees's retirement and Winston's injury) is too much to deal with! They will be lucky to make the playoffs as a Wild Card at the rate they are going. I don't even recognize this team anymore! They surprise the football world by totally dominating Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (with our back-up QB Trevor Simien's David against perennial winner Tom Brady's Goliath, no less!) but fall as flat as a stale pancake to teams like the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers. In times like these, I wish I weren't such a football fan because it's not good for the old ticker. And I'm not ashamed to say that, yes, quite a few times I've had to seek Divine intervention when watching games where the Saints had to pull off a win at the last moment during regulation or in overtime.
