NaNoWriMo STUFF
How to Participate in
National Novel Writing Month 2021
...Preparation, Resources And Plenty More!

I just saw a share by my good forum buddy batman1101 where the freebie download he posted was converted to a "donation" download by Natalia Leigh, the document's creator.

Here's that thread...

.

Being that batman1101 may be participating in NaNoWriMo himself, his private messaging is intermittently disabled so I can't reach him to ask whether he can share this document. Besides, even if I could, I wouldn't want to disturb his writing groove.

So, while that share is no longer from from that link, for as little as $1 USD, you can grab the Pretober 2021 Writers' Workbook; but I went ahead and did it so you won't have to.

Get it here...

Hi Layna, thankyou so much for starting this thread and for kindly offering a mirror for the Preptober guide. I have sent you max reps for your kind help :) I hope everyone enjoys the Preptober guide and finds it useful in planning and writing their novel.
awesome shares, repped both layna and batman, keep up the goodies coming by truckload...for the BBHF community..!!
@batman1101: You're welcome, buddy. I just read the last few messages you sent and those were great finds! I will make some time to go through them after my slate of NFL games on tomorrow.

As for this share, I'm glad you got around to seeing it. I knew you were away for a little while and had your PM function off temporarily. When I saw that the Preptober Guide link was asking for a donation, I wanted to help to keep down the number of posts asking about it because clearly, it was offered as a free download not long ago. So I stepped in because you have helped me so much with your shares. I never thought I'd see the day when someone I told to start sharing and urged to find stuff, would excel at it like you have. I tip my hat to you, batman1101.

@discomix: Thanks for the reps. I appreciate your kind words. Many of us who share do it to encourage others in the BBHF community to step in and do their share. I have posted all kinds of tutorials to show how simple it is to find a lot of downloads. I plan to be around as long as the admins at BBHF will have me. So, I plan to keep on sharing but I urge anyone who hasn't shared much lately (or never shared anything at all) to be like Nike and Just Do It. Once you do, it becomes easier. Then watch how both your rep count soars and the number of people who will help you when you need something increases.

Thanks
Layna61524
Layna - thankyou so much for your kind words. You are a huge inspiration to me and to so many others here and I will always be grateful to you for all your amazing tutorials and search tips and all that I have learnt from you :)

Discomix - thanks also for your kind words :) I'm glad you enjoyed the NanoWrimo Preptober guide and also Layna's other valuable NanoWrimo resources.

I wish everyone every success in their NanoWrimo projects. I also want to add that, if you are entering NanoWrimo and are unable to finish your manuscript on time, there is a "Camp NanoWrimo" event that is held the following year (in April and July) which is an event for writers to get together and work on any writing project of their choice. I've read that some people finish their unfinished NanoWrimo manuscripts during "Camp NanoWrimo". So don't worry if you can't finish on time - there are always more opportunities to work on your unfinished manuscript, hang out with other writers and have fun!

You can read more about "Camp NanoWrimo" here:

Lastly, for inspiration, here is a list of some bestselling books that were written during NanoWrimo:

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.
Cinder, Scarlet and Cress by Marissa Meyer.
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.
Wool by Hugh Howey.
Side Effects May Vary by Julie Murphy.
Water for Elephants by Sarah Gruen.

For even more inspiration, you can view a list of 33 novels that were written during NanoWrimo at this website:

I hope this helps and best wishes to everyone for success in NanoWrimo 2021 :)
Thanks, batman1101. I appreciate all the extra value-added links.

Thanks
