You're very welcome, BlackTopHat. Frequently, I have the same experience you just described, so I know that to be true.
There are tens of dozens of people here who are very generous with their shares and kind-hearted with their knowledge. These people build this community.
I get PMs all the time --- mainly from people wanting to find stuff. And that's okay because I'm happy to (try to) help, whenever I can. But every now and again, there is a "forum friend" who pops up in my Inbox with links to very valuable products they don't want to post publicly but are happy to share with me because they know that I'm not stingy with my help to the community.
What bothers me is when I see posts by the same people (who often have been here for decades but have a goose egg or single-digit reputation) who:
- post: "It would be awesome if someone can mirror this" for very large files that keep getting removed by the file share host site;
- post: "Somebody must have this" or "C'mon, I need this!" (in my mind, I'm thinking --- "So, buy it!")
- make a specific request to mirror a share to Mega when they have done nothing to assist another forum member; and,
- keep making "bump" posts on a REQ thread already teeming with "bump" posts.
