Whenever a F4LT thread has '[GET] 3 Days only! ' in the title, it is almost for sure made by the same member:

This is surely Scott Paton openly self-promoting his own things here...
Trouble is (IMO) the topics of them are all over the map.

Copied from his profile:
"Scott Paton has been podcasting since the spring of 2005.
He has executive produced and/or co-hosted over 45 podcasts.
An internationally renowned speaker, Scott has presented to audiences from London, England to Sydney, Australia, from Vancouver, BC to New York, NY, from LA to Rwanda."

Yes - he is clearly a talented podcaster, presenter and producer, BUT=>
What is his own area of expertise OTHER than interviewing experts ??
With 150+ interviews published as 'courses' - it is impossible to determine this very important fact about him.

I was fooled initially by his very smooth presentations - and then I realized that this guy may know loads about 1 or several topics, but truthfully there is no way to know which areas those may be, because:

He is mostly a very skilled INTERVIEWER and PRESENTER who uses the skills of others who truly ARE experts in his making of his INTERVIEWS which are incorrectly labeled as 'courses'.

I wasted time on several of those before I realized that they are no more helpful or useful than the IM guru's sales webinars - very cute and fluffy.

So now when I look through the new posts list here - and I see '[GET] 3 Days only! ', or if it is by scottp1956, I just ignore it.

Here is what I recommend to anyone who values their time or who may just wish to actually use courses to learn deeply about things:

Look carefully at any of these which may attract you to see who he may be interviewing - and perhaps find real courses or other materials offered by those folks directly.

All the ones of his I've checked out have been extremely superficial.
The ONLY benefit I've gotten from them is that they showed me NOT to do that again, at all.

YMMV, of course.
Exactly, i noticed his "The Ultimate YouTube Traffic Hack - Unlimited Free Traffic" course that was free few days ago, and at the same time.. his own 6 years old YouTube channel has ONLY 735 subscribers??
What a YouTube traffic hacker..
BUT, he has 150+ "courses", and there are a lot of people that will make a mistake of buying some of them.. so, that's a nice incentive to "invent hot water"
Scott Patton has certainly found his genius!
- networking with people who are willing to share their success stories (must have taken a lot of persuasion)
- interviewing skills
- presentation skills
- organizing content and packaging them into finished products that make him money

Wow!

I wish I have even 10% of what he has...

Thankful for all his share!
I do not envy anyone's successes though I applaud them for it - BUT:

When anyone is successful via misrepresentations they deserve our disdain IMO.

This man is making many. many phony baloney NON-courses and selling those to folks who know no better until they've been ripped off.

Taking in $$$ from people via such a visible lie is VERY POOR FORM.
Since 'mr. 3 Days only' bumps his self-promotional listings here, looks like time to also give this little thing a bump as well !!
Yeah, I peeped this guy out a while back. He interviews the experts. He's not an expert in anything. From my experience, it looks like he sets up joint ventures with those people. He asks the questions and they provide the answers. However, it's really a dialogue. No meat or potatoes with his stuff. His interviews simply set the stage for his guests to sell their pricey courses.

To break things down....He's a clown. That's all!
YAY Drmindbender1971 !!:

Exactly.
Very well said Drmindbender1971 - thanks for your reply here !!
Thanks, DrMindBender1971, i agree with you there. On another note, I noticed that Udemy went public a couple of days ago. Will this change anything as far as the quality of courses promoted?
