Normally that's my post. But I have an interesting story to share about this...

A few days ago, I was looking for something I'd seen (an idea that I had come across for finding good product ideas). Problem was I couldn't remember exactly where I saw it. I thought it was in a pdf report of some sort. So for a couple days and several hours, I dug through all the files I'd opened - using recent lists in my PDF viewer, the recent lists in my explorer, recent downloads - you name it, I checked.

Of course I couldn't find it. And I distinctly remember it wasn't long ago - I just couldn't remember where.

Anyway, this morning I made a decision not to look for it (I spent enough time already). That it would just show up. Not that it might but that it would definitely turn up some time. I set it as a goal of sorts for my subconscious, I even wrote it down. (I don't do this normally but have read about it and decided what the heck - let my subconscious find it).

So the next thing, I'm checking out this forum. I just happen to "see" this post of yours and chuckle. This is not the thing I was looking for, but it's in the very much in the ballpark.

Then I "decide" (more like subconsciously drawn) to go back into something I was looking a week or so ago. And guess what? Yep, I find that exact thing I was looking for in a few minutes. Something I'd spent more than a few hours looking for over the past few days. I'd already "checked" this source in my earlier efforts but hadn't done so thoroughly enough.

And now I thinking this was totally crazy how this happened.

So crazy, I have to share it.

So here it is.

And thanks again for your generous sharing as always.

Hope you had a good Easter break.

Your forever fan - bbhmogul...

PS. I was skimming this file (before I "found" my lost file) and noticed Dan referenced audio and video cassettes. Made me wonder how old this report is. Not that it's any less valuable because methods for generating ideas can always be adapted.

PPS. FYI - this report from Dan is a copy and paste from another marketer Jeff Gardner. It's great content, but not original from Dan.
Hi, bbhmogul. Good to see you here. Yes, my Easter was peaceful and quiet -- but every day is like a break for me. Thank you for asking.

That's an interesting story you told. And it's true; when we put intention behind finding something (or making something happen for that matter) we can often meet with psychic resistance. But once we make up our minds that it will just show up when it should, it often does.

Not that we can do that in any situation because sometimes we're dealing with deadlines and cases where there will be a price to pay for not finding the item you need. But I know exactly what you mean.

Case-in-point: Recently, I was having some issues with a damaged disc on my computer. Despite the groaning and whirring noises coming from the CPU, I could use it to go online or do simple tasks like text documents but I could not reach my C:\ drive so I didn't have access to a lot of my programs, could not access my Roboform or do anything really meaningful.

I wanted to transfer some of the larger course files I downloaded over time from my Mega account to my external hard drive but my mind drew a sudden blank when I got to the login and couldn't remember the password to my paid Mega account. Since I couldn't open my Roboform app (it resides on the damaged C: drive), I looked through a series of text documents called Password but, alas, Mega was nowhere there. I knew a fragment of the password but could not guess the whole of it. And you know how they make you create hard-to-guess passwords ... well, the combination of letters, numbers and symbols was a challenge that nearly drove me mad.

Even worse, I couldn't access the saved Mega key that's required for account recovery. When I reached out to Mega's customer support they said they don't back up files or keep the Mega key for the accounts, so I was on my own.

This really bothered me for a couple of days and haunted my nights. I literally saw the red circle with the big white M in my dreams.

After repeatedly trying different words and numbers, nothing worked and it looked like I was permanently locked out. Since I pay monthly for that account, I figured all those terrabytes of courses are gone for good.

Unless you can get to that Mega key (which was my issue)... then, you're up sh*t's creek on a cold, dark night (in a leaky boat without an oar!).

Finally, defeated, I made up my mind that I was letting it go. If the password was to come to me, it would; in its own time.

And it did!

A day later, while watching TV, the password appeared before my eyes, as if "out of the blue." I scribbled it onto a piece of paper and, trying to temper my excitement, hurried to the computer to try it. And just like that --- without issue --- I was back inside my Mega account, like I never left.

All I could do was sit there, shaking my head in disbelief. I can't explain it but that's the way things seem to happen.

So, yeah ... I know exactly what you mean.

My computer is back to normal now after I purchased a disc recovery software but I'm here to testify to your story, if you need a witness.

I file this under the category: Strange --- but true.

I'm so happy to know you're a fan of my shares. Thank you. I appreciate the support.

I'm very happy you found your lost file.

I suspect that Dan Lok's Instant Information Products is a little on the old side. And it sounds like a lot of marketers use either white label products that they "make their own" or borrow from other marketers to make a quick buck while working on their own over-priced, 50 GB course. So, I'm not surprised.

I got this share from Amazon.com and they're usually pretty up-front about posting the copyright date on the product description page. It seems, for some reason, they've omitted it --- or maybe I just overlooked it.

Also, I usually post the copyright date, number of pages and file formats to the e-books I share but it looks like I didn't with this one.

If you need to know how old it is, you can check the copyright page inside the e-book but you're right, stuff like idea generation is pretty evergreen. You will just need to get additional information (like the going trends or what's popular now) from more current sources to help you with creating relevant products to sell.

Anyway, thank you for posting and enjoy the share.

Thanks

Layna,

That IS kinda crazy isn't it? These "coincidences".

I actually had another story. In the mornings, I like to do a quick writing exercise mainly to practice a bit of writing and get the brain flowing.

Not long ago, doing this exercise, a thought popped into my head and I just wrote it down. Spent a few minutes writing about that thought.

Not long after I finished I popped open my email inbox and saw the exact thought/idea in one of the subject lines of an email I'd gotten.

I couldn't believe it. It was the EXACT thought (almost word for word) I'd spent a couple minutes writing about. And it's not common enough that people drop it into subject lines, at least not often.

So yeah, another bizarre/weird coincidence...

Hmmm... makes you wonder (at least I wonder).

7wondering

PS. Glad your computer is good again. Great to hear the recovery program worked. My thing is to always have backups. At least for the critical/important stuff.

PPS. "Dan's" product - I guess he was consistent with the title at least... an "instant info product" by copying and pasting. Not an idea I'd suggest but yeah, maybe he did get the rights from the original marketer as that was quite an old product. I actually looked for the copyright in the report and there wasn't any. Only Dan's bio at the back. Anyway, I already know the rough date of the original (early 2000s). So no worries there.
