I used to use Allavsoft for Udemy courses and it was pretty good - but now (after Berlinerin insisted...) I use Udeler and it is way BETTER - needs no reg. either as it is 100% free and just works !!
(It grabs the subtitles, added files and all.)

I tried Allavsoft for general video DLs too - but it wasn't very good or reliable for those and worst of all IMO=>
It needed updating constantly which is a total PITA !!

For most other stuff I use the Java version (ONLY) of JDL and it beats everything as well as being freeware,
