TURNING MESSENGER CONVOS INTO SALES
Important: Make sure you provide value, content, and authority in your posts as this will make this a lot more effective. If you are unsure how to do that, just take a deep breath, think about how you can help your target customer and write/shoot video from your heart, then post it on your wall. Do it every single day. Engage with your friends with likes and valuable comments.
Someone Accepts Your Friend Request.
Or you outreach to them
Send them a casual and friendly welcome message along the lines of:
Hey, thanks for the add, rock on :)
Hey man, how’s it going :)?
Avoid cheesy and scripted messages like:
“Hey I noticed you are in group X, I am in group X too”
“Hey I really like connecting with entrepreneurs and like minded people”
Avoid all this over the top type stuff, it doesn’t work and comes across as disingenuous
The idea here is to engage with them, once you do, they will be exposed to your content.
This is why it’s important to have your content sheet done, so they will see you as a person of value,
And more importantly an expert/authority in your field.
Also, you can scan through their profile and get a “feel” for who they are, and then comment or “love” their posts, so they are even more exposed to your content.
Don’t ask any questions or try to force the conversation into a certain direction.
Just send a friendly welcome message and let them respond.
If they don’t respond it’s not a big deal.
Some people will respond with a very short response such as “Likewise”.
Leading the Conversation
Once someone has responded to your welcome message you want to lead the conversation in the right direction by creating context.
This is the most effective way since it is not intrusive, and it gives you a natural and genuine reason to have a conversation.
Remember, “sales is not on the agenda”
I see you are doing some awesome organic stuff there dude, nice work :)”
They reply
“Yeah, that is a seriously powerful stuff man, good to see”
Be genuine.
Moving the Conversation Forward
Once the person has responded to you can continue moving the conversation forward using the following simple framework.
Use the following framework:

Example:
You: “Hi John”
You: “Great connecting with you”
John: “Likewise”
You: “Just checked out your profile and it looks like you’re crushing it. So you mainly do aff marketing?”
John: “Yes, I’m just getting started”
You: “That’s awesome” (Confirmation)
You: “I think a lot of online entrepreneurs underestimate just how powerful affiliate marketing can be” (Statement)
You: “Do you mainly use FB strategies, paid ads, or how does it work?” (Question)
John: “I am using organic right now
You: “Got it” (Confirmation)
You: Organic growth is definitely the way to go from what I have seen in my experience in Aff marketing.” (Statement)
You: “How many leads are you getting daily?” (Question)
John: “Just around 2-3 people, I haven’t started doing the methods yet, it's hard work!”
You: “That’s awesome, at least you are starting.” (Confirmation)
You: “1 to 1 messaging is no joke” (Statement)
You: Are you using a proven system or organic model?” (Question) / getting many conversions?
: No just direct messaging and Fb groups so far
You: “Got it, awesome. Looks like you are doing well with that” (Confirmation)
You: “It looks like you are on the right path” (Statement)
Etc.
What we are assessing for:
People who understand organic marketing but don’t know how to monetize it properly
People with an online course no idea how to sell it.
People who are getting leads but don’t know how to convert them into sales.
Struggling affiliate and network marketers who want o more conversions sales, and sign ups
People who want to monetize their existing Fb audience
People who want to grow their network marketing business
People who want to make high ticket sales using organic methods.
The only goal of the conversation is to quickly extract all the information you need to know whether you can potentially help the person you’re talking to and if the person meets the criteria to be an ideal client.
The main thing you want to find out is whether the person meets the three qualifying criteria you’ve defined in your one ideal client worksheet.
Make it all about them.
Show genuine interest and curiosity about their situation.
Your Elevator Pitch
Ideally, at some point during the conversation the person will ask about you. When you keep the focus on them and are a good listener, eventually they will become curious about you, who you are and what you do.
Once the person asks about you, send them your elevator pitch.
Example:
I am part of a unique mastermind where we have done $250,000 this year so far using a truly dynamic and unique approach to traffic generation and conversions that no-one else is teaching.
This is both for paid and organic (free) Methods.
And we help each other start and scale our own digital franchise.
People are leaving so much money on the table by not knowing and using this stuff, and also spending a lot of extra time using generic outdated methods.
The guy/ My mentor who runs the program works closely with us on a 1 to 1 basis with weekly private mastermind live coaching sessions to help us get to $10k a month net.
For Example, one member, Kevin, has already made $7500 in his first week in the program..using the training!
You should keep your elevator pitch saved on your phone and in a text file on your computer so you can quickly copy-paste it whenever you need it.
The goal of the elevator pitch is to brag a little bit and position you as an expert and authority in your field. We don’t want people to view you as a random person but rather as someone high-value with experience.
Invitation to call with me
Once you’ve extracted all the information you need, you'll have a good idea whether you could potentially help the person and whether the person meets the criteria to be an ideal client or not. If that’s the case, you go ahead and send them an invitation to have a chat sometime.
If the person isn’t an ideal client, just let the conversation end naturally.
Example:
“If you’re available we can hop on a call sometime with my mentor and he can break it down. I’m not 100% sure, but we might be able to help you with (the thing they want). We would need a bit more information to say for sure, but there might be an opportunity. Worst case, we will do our best to point you in the right direction or share some helpful tips with you.
Setting Up the Call
Extract the timezone and set up a day and time to speak.
Example:
John: “Yes, I appreciate it”
You: “Sounds good”
You: “What timezone are you currently in?”
John: “PST”
You: “Would Friday at 2pm PST work for you?”
John: Yes
You: “Perfect”
You: “I’ll send you the Zoom link here on Facebook a few minutes before 2pm on Friday”
You: “Looking forward!”
John“Me too!”
Once you’ve set up your call don’t continue talking via messenger. End the conversation there and then continue talking directly during the call.
