A BBHF member wanted to know how others are finding PLR files and I posted how I do it on that thread. If you'd like to see that post, go here:

Today, someone who saw that post sent me a PM to ask how to find PLR on a specific site. I offered a detailed reply and thought I'd post it here, as well, for anyone else it might help --- especially newbies. I've edited my reply for posting to the forum, but the gist is the same.

There are several ways to hunt for download links but the easiest is to do a simple web search.

The website I was asked about is: firelaunchers.com. I won't list the specific link I was sent but the content was health- and wellness-related PLR products.

Now, here is my answer, re-written/edited for posting here:

Hi, (username). Thanks for the question.

There are quite a few ways you can search for stuff on a particular site and PLR is no exception. You can use a site ripper tool, do a web search in several ways or (if you have an existing download link) use the "naming convention" for the link and search for more in Google or Duckduckgo. Below, I will touch upon these ways below using the site name you provided.

Of course, you will not always find links if the site owner has them protected behind a member's portal and a password is required; or his links are hosted on another server (and not on the same site the sales page is hosted) or he uses a system that sends the links to customers via email. Some sites are protected (coded) so that the links won't show up, even with site ripper tools or in a search engine.

I like to start with a simple search and let Google direct me to change up the keywords, if necessary, based on the results.

Start with this:
firelaunchers.com download

I got quite a few page-one download links with that search but I noticed the naming convention (see example links below) of the downloads I got. Here's a partial screen-shot:

Look at those links and you will see the similarity in the "naming convention." The sub-directory: members-download. shows up in many of them, so one way to bring up more of these links in Google is to mimic that in your search.

Next, change up your search to look like this:

firelaunchers.com/members-download/*

Notice, I added the asterisk or star symbol (*). That symbol stands in place for anything UNKNOWN. Since we have no way of knowing what the actual file names are for different downloads, we use this asterisk so Google will bring up ANY file name that is inside the members-download sub-directory on that site (that are not protected).

Looking at the link you sent me, it appears you are interested in HEALTH/WELLNESS stuff more than INTERNET MARKETING downloads. So you can further refine your keywords by adding the keyword health (or wellness) before executing the search.

NOTE: If any of the downloads are behind a password-protected area, you won't get them.

One last tip...

You can also mimic any Amazon S3 link you find (if that is the actual source of the download links). For example, here is the actual download source for one of the downloads I found:

s3.amazonaws.com/firelaunchers/

OR

s3.amazonaws.com/firelaunchers/download+/(file name)

The (file name) is where the actual name of the file goes and it ends in a file extension based on the type of file it is (.pdf, .exe, .zip or .rar, etc.). So what I did to use the link as a search query is to remove the file name completely and add the asterisk/star symbol to get more downloads. The search looks like this:

s3.amazonaws.com/firelaunchers/download+/*

Using that keyword search above should bring you lots of downloads from that site. But again, if you want mostly health-related stuff, add the word health or whatever category you desire.

==========END OF REPLY==========

Here are a couple of the downloads from that site, just to show you the quantity and quality of what's there:

FIRELAUNCHERS.COM DOWNLOADS

.
VECTOR TREASURE TROVE 5K
PLR DOWNLOAD
https://firelaunchers.com/members-download/vector-treasure-trove-5k-plr-download/
.

BE SMART: Watch what you click on and if you get any weird browser behaviors, unexpected re-directs or constantly loading pages, exit and run a quick virus scan. Always run a local scan on whatever you download.

You can do this type of search using any PLR website. Some searches will bring little to nothing but others will bring you a treasure-trove of downloads.

You can find the URLs for PLR sites with a simple web search: PLR sites (along with a niche or category keyword if needed).

Let me know if this helps. The only thing left to do now is go get yourself a much, much bigger hard drive! Happydance

Enjoy! My best wishes for a fruitful private resell (or master resell) rights search.

A very big thank you Layna.
The MASTER of SHARES is here with a BANG!
Layna61524 thank you for such an
awesome share almost as awesome
as you!!! Thanks
Great techniques.

Also try these in Google:

"firelaunchers" "download" for the example discussed above.

"thank you" "download" "plr"

Even better, to save time..."thank you" "download" "plr" "(your niche)"

For a specific site:

site:xyz.com filetype:pdf
site:xyz.com filetype:mp4

Google makes things really easy if you use quotes. As Google search becomes better and better, snagging products also becomes easier :-)
@MBCL65AMG, taharoyal52 and Archon: Awwww ... you guys are too kind! I'm glad you like the share and I hope you find whatever PLR you're looking for using searches like these!

@All: Everyone who repped without posting, I appreciate it. Thank you!

@Ricky P: Thanks for the extra search suggestions. Great post! And you're right; quotation marks will often get you more of what you're looking for but, they can also limit what you get in the results. Quotes are great when you know what you want and don't want anything else. Going without quotes will bring a larger pool of potential downloads for you to pick-and-choose from.

Thanks

Easier and faster : buy the product and ask for a refund.
@aminoacid: I don't know which vendors you've had experience dealing with but getting a refund now-a-days is all but a joke with the song-and-dance they put you through. The "satisfaction guarantee" and "just ask for a refund" is a ploy to get you to buy.

Maybe I'm taking your comment too seriously and you meant it to be funny because (as I hope my demonstration in the OP shows) doing a web search for all these goodies is as easy as taking candy from a baby.

Thanks
