i guess what this guy wants to do is promote his printing business so he came up with this course to do just that. just a quick research says you can get 1000 magnets for $500 which includes shipping so if someone wants to pay $600 for a graphic designer, they can do that but you can probably save $300 hiring someone for that or save $600 to do it yourself cutting costs dramatically. i would probably hire someone to do it for $300 and save $300 where my total cost is $800 and not $1,100. yea, extra time invovled not going with someone who will do it all for you but for someone just starting out in this business, this is what *I* would do to save costs.
some people wont work on straight commission but there are people who will....espcially with a pretty straight forward business model like this one and easy to impliment with little selling involved. if each project is worth $3k, pay the rep 2k and keep 1k. if the rep is slow, that's still 2k a month in their pocket. if the rep is average, it's a full time income for part time work.
this is assuming all the figures he is talking about are correct in how much time it takes to get the contracts and complete a project.
this is probably a good time to start a business like this with people out of work right now and businesses just starting to open up again. keeps people safe when you're not dealing with a high crowded working environment as well.
anyway, those are my quick thoughts. adding reps......
Great insight love your sense of reasoning keep it up
