It's copyright 2013, so I wouldn't take this as a 100% accurate guide today.

Sorry to hear that, chijo, but what I do at Zippy usually works to avoid those annoying ads (I do this at MediaFire, also):

!. Hold cursor directly over the Orange download button.
2. Right-click over it.
3. If using either Firefox or Chrome, select Open Link in New Tab.
4. Click download when the little box appears.

If you're having an ad problem, just install Adblock Plus chrome extension. If you don't like it or don't want it, uninstall it when you're done with the download.
