Genuine question: if there is work needed to make the method work, in what sense is this "passive income" as claimed by the OP? My understanding of passive methods is that you set them up once and leave them to run, and they generate income over time without intervention: eg - by selling KDP books on Amazon. If you have to do something per sale, then that's definitely not passive income. What am I missing?

To make an income you have to set it up first and then it becomes passive.
In this method too you have to set up the system first. Then earning will be passive
