I tried to enroll to the course but get "
You have exceeded the maximum number of requests."

What is this means??

I tried lots of times but not working..
wait for several minutes then repeat trying to enroll.
Just happened to me as well.
... and it's not just a several minutes.
I had to log out than login again just to grab a single curse.
And now it's still re-occurring.
Bravo udemy quasi-"programmers"!
I got that too. Seems like a bug at udemy side
Great, thanks Udemy. It appears they've decided to clamp down on 'course megacollectors'. I'm guessing this. Just what we need right now.

F4LT ones are OK. But coupons seem not to work. Grrr.

Actually, it worked when I went back and tried again, phew
you are hoarding courses.

To bypass that: Add course to cart with the applied code and then follow all regular procedure to buying it while still at 0.00 (or free).

The thing is if you insta enroll you might get that message.
Embrace the fact that those who run pewdemy are just IMers.

So - what do they care about the most ??
The $$$$$$ they can scrape out in any manner;

What do they care about LEAST ??
Quality.

It has become obvious that they have chosen to 'optimize' their bandwidth usages lately - that is exactly why they sliced off a bunch of stuff from the 100& free things there.
They also changed a bunch of other stuff which easily correlates with BW usages.

The simplest thing to do there is...pay.

Aside of doing that - be ready for even more draconian changes from that site.

With the 100% free courses there is no 'add to cart' option anymore, so if you hit the enroll now button and it spits you out, try the suggestions posted by other members here...hopefully those will help you, BUT:

As always, I very strongly suggest grabbing the best things from there that you get for local usage - that way if they start blocking users who haven't paid much (again - but even worse than they did before), you'll have the stuff on hand until your access may be restored.
Why the hell it shows a completely different UI for free courses?!

What is so wrong with these people?!
Seems to be bored to death so let's change something, anything...
