However, I ran a test from a folder with just 8 images and I am not seeing any data being added to the file. It will batch rename them but if I go into Properties > Details then there is nothing there. Am I doing something wrong? I don't think so as it is fairly easy to navigate.
Again thanks.
Thanks for reporting this. The destination folder should be in a non-windows installed drive i.e not in C drive.
If that doesn't solve it, try it without enabling compression.
thanks nice share sir, i love you heheheee

Here is a tool that I developed back in 2019 to actually sell. Spent quite a lot of time developing it.
With this software, the user can do the following:
1. Batch Embed Title, Description, Keywords, Rating, URL and GEO Tags(for location based SEO), in the metadata of the media files(MP4, JPG).
2. Batch Rename files with title or keywords in a variety of different ways.
3. Batch Compress media files(JPG, PNG, MP4) to reduce their size.
4. Batch convert MP4 files to WebM using the VP9 compression technology Google loves.
5. Everything listed above works with the click of a button called "Start Optimization".
The website:
Code:
https://mediaseooptimizer.com/
I didn't get the time to work on it much to make it better. I thought rather than sitting useless on my computer, it might help at least some of you who does media compression on a daily basis.
Download:
Code:
https://www27.zippyshare.com/v/hbjeWhmv/file.html
License Key:
After download, install the software on a drive in which windows isn't installed like an E drive or something which doesn't require permission issues.
The help menu is available inside the software.
Steps to use:
1. Choose the source directory. This folder should contain some images(JPG or PNG) or videos(MP4 or WEBM) that you want to optimize.
2. Choose the destination directory. You can create an empty folder prior to choosing this folder. This is where the final optimized files will be.
3. [Optional] For SEO purposes, Enter at least the title if you want.
4. [Optional] Choose from the renaming options to rename the files based on title or keyword.
5. Choose "Images Only" option under the "Enable Media Compression" to compress images. This is an ideal option for media companies like yours.
6. Click "Start Optimization".
The process will take some time depending on the size and number of files.
Minimum System Requirements: Windows 8, 2 GB RAM, 500 MB Free Disk Space
NOTE: If your antivirus shouts out some virus, kindly ignore that as I developed this tool and I have no interest in such things.
NOTE: If you are into youtube, compress your mp4 to webm using this tool and upload, I truly believe this will boost your SEO and your videos will load faster. I'm pretty sure no gurus are talking about this(or they don't know)
If anyone thinks that this tool is good or has bugs feel free to post here. If there is any interest in the tool, I will make it better.
Virustotal shows virus detection brother if is your tool should be clean....
I'll try it, thanks for sharing! +reps
I tested it in all available ways and not one did not work. But with each attempt it creates files that deleted only by antivirus.
Conclusion: This program is designed to spread viruses, do not get fooled by this.

Well, that a huge accusation there bro.
Anyways let me shed some light on how things work when it comes to VirusTotal scans. The scan happens for the executable file that you upload to scan. Not the executables embedded within it.
When u upload a setup.exe for example in this case, you are actually scanning the installer executable not my actual program.
Now, the virus part - Certain antivirus detect embedded programs within an installer as Adwares as they get installed without user's explicit consent. For example, MSO contains lots of executables that are delegated with different tasks. I call these the MSO Engine components(kind of like microservices architecture). When u install the setup.exe, and choose a path of installation, the different components are automatically copied to the desired path.
These issues might not happen for most Softwares that comes with a digital certificate. And yes, some antiviruses don't allow some of the engine components from doing its job essentially making the software not working.
Hope this helps.
Oh by the way, if I want to spread viruses(which I'm not at all interested), I can easily embed them to PDFs and Videos of some expensive courses and share it here rather than sharing my own product. And trust me Virus Total won't even have a clue there will be virus in it. And the best part of doing it is that, that file will be shared all over the internet(other forums, torrents, etc) making me tons of money.

Hope the above answer clears the doubt
Super cool share!! thanks so much!! Max repped..
How safe is this software?
And what if your software also embeds the said virus into user's uploads?
