I suggest if you need an editable version of the PDF (to make any changes/make it your own design) and you don't want to pay the asking price for all these PDFs, you can go to bitdownload or other Persian site and search for a PDF editor program like Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or other tool. You will then look for the most recent version (update) for YOUR computer operating system (x32, x64, Mac).

I recommend:

#1 - On the software download site, you hover your mouse over the download link and read (in the lower left corner of the browser) the file name completely to see if the link ends in part01, part02, etc. This says you need to download multiple files to get the full download. Make sure you find the total number of available file parts for YOUR operating system. Save all files to a single folder/directory wherever you're downloading to and extract the very first file only after everything is downloaded. Otherwise, you will not be able to use the software.

#2 - Don't forget to run a local or VT scan on the file before installing and using it.

#3 - Make sure you read any information about a required password to access the download. Usually, on Persian sites like this one, the name of the host site (without the "http://" or "https://:) serves as the password; but if in doubt, please download and read my report below. You will find the passwords beginning on page 23:

One last thing: Aside from the Blank Comic Book templates, there is a TON of very useful PDFs you can grab on this site. I suggest you create folders in your download area to categorize your assets like this: Printables - Calendars; Printables - Comic Book Pages; Printables - Postcards; etc.

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and it won't let me edit those pdfs.

@mehere001: Thanks for your post. Since the Adobe product will not edit these designs, you can use them as inspiration in creating your own comic book page templates. Before you do anything, of course, always check the usage terms and conditions on the website. That should tell you what you can/can't do with your downloads.

You should be able to use the basic shapes "as is," because they are simply shapes one can find in almost any word processing program like Microsoft Word.

You may need to edit the format of the shape (ex: text box) in Word to make it clear (no background color) so any text or image you insert will show through but I don't know if you can do everything you would need to do for a comic book page with the editing resources in MS Word. I have had difficulty working within text boxes trying to insert more than one image and having them stay in the places I put them.

I just found this PC World article that claims FoxIt Reader can edit ANY PDF ... even PDFs you "can't" edit. It allows text editing and offers other mark-up tools. And the author says it's "smaller, faster and less intrusive" than Adobe Reader!

NOTE: Be sure to decline any additional items (toolbars or other software files) it offers to install. Those could be could problematic. Some toolbars can be a nightmare to get rid of and some of the software can be adware and spyware risks.

This post is to suggest a workable solution but please note, this isn't something I've tried. I am not working on any comic book projects at the moment and only wanted to reply to 12days's REQ thread with something he could use while waiting for someone to provide what he asked for.

I am hoping someone who can try this software will post to let me know if it worked.

By the way, here are the four latest versions of FoxIt Reader:

Version 9.5. 0.20723 - released on April 16, 2019
Version 9.7. 0.29478 - released on October 16, 2019
Version 9.7. 1.29511 - released on January 16, 2020

You can try searching for one of these newer updates by using keywords: FoxIt Reader and the version number (ex: 9.7.1.29511) in a search engine like Google or Duckduckgo.

It would be great to discover how to edit these PDFs because that website has a treasure trove of designs.
