Freedom from the Known by Jiddu Krishnamurti was first published in 1969 and it soon became one of his most read works. From the books intro:
βMan has throughout the ages been seeking something beyond himself, beyond material welfare β something we call truth or God or reality, a timeless state β something that cannot be disturbed by circumstances, by thought or by human corruption.
Man has always asked the question: what is it all about? Has life any meaning at all? He sees the enormous confusion of life, the brutalities, the revolt, the wars, the endless divisions of religion, ideology and nationality, and with a sense of deep abiding frustration he asks, what is one to do, what is this thing we call living, is there anything beyond it?β
Or in other words on of very effective approaches to self for those who seek it
Recommended! this material is recommended for the people that had their 1st enlightenment moment or at least one. This goes into the deeps of the soul... for it to Be or Shine all the time or by choice... its a guide of sorts one way or approach how to achieve it. And I must say again... this is just One Way (of many) or approach to yourself... from my point of view this is the best representation to the way to self in todays words so that people can understand and its also one of the rarest that goes all the way!
