Please follow the rules stated below when using this section.
This applies to everyone, new and old members.
===== TAGS =====
Coupon threads should start with the appropriate tags:
[GET] For courses made free with coupons
[F4LT] For courses marked as free without coupons
[B] For bundle threads, threads with more than course (more than 1 course shared)
===== Requests =====
If you want to request a coupon, please post it in the request thread
http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-Udemy-Bump-Requests
Do not ask in course share threads.
===== Discount Threads =====
We have a special section for that, and it's not here.
You may find it here:
http://bestblackhatforum.com/Forum-Udemy-DISCOUNTS-OFFER
===== Threads Titles =====
Thread Titles should follow one of these formats:
[GET] Exact Title From Course Page
[GET] Exact Title From Course Page (Language if not English)
[F4LT] Exact Title From Course Page
[F4LT] Exact Title From Course Page (Language if not English)
[B] Whatever is appropriate for the specific bundle
===== F4LT =====
We don't bump F4LT threads unless it has gone paid and then become free again. Some of us sharers have crafted our own special tools to track these changes, so we know when to and not to do it.
===== New Threads =====
Do not open a new thread if a [GET] or [F4LT] thread exist for it. You may open a new thread for a previously share course only if it was shared only in a [B] thread.
Before opening a new thread, search to see if a thread already exists for that course.
If a threads exists, post the coupon or availability notice there.
DON'T create a new thread, even if the code is different or the original post was a different F4LT/GET tag. Only 1 thread per course.
It's best to search for the unique url course code, as in "/unique-course-code" in "https://www.udemy.com/course/unique-course-code"
===== Spoiler Tags =====
Please don't use spoiler tags around a single course link.
You may use them for bundled links if you like, or other things.
===== Replying to Threads =====
We like to keep threads in a neat order and make it simple for people to see whether a thread has a new coupon or not. No one likes opening 20 threads to find out that 15 of them are just people begging for coupons and there's no new coupons available or even "thanks".
(1) No bumping threads by replying with thanks messages. If you really want to thank a contributor, there's a rep for button for that and this doesn't bump threads.
(2) Requests for new coupons must be posted to the request thread only.
(3) Only one post to say all listed coupons for the course have expired.
• No asking for a new coupon in the same post.
• If someone else has posted "coupon expired", you don't, one total!
(4) No posting that a coupon has expired in a bundle thread unless every coupon has expired.
===== Ripping Courses =====
There will be NO ripping of courses in this section… we want instructors to share as many coupons as possible… ripping their courses after you get access will only deter them from sharing coupons in the future.
===== Affiliate Links =====
You are NOT allowed to share an affiliate link!
If you don't know what that means, any address starting with https://www.udemy.com/ is not an affiliate link and is fine to post.
===== Other Notes =====
• If you leave reviews for courses you get, instructors are more likely to share in the future, and it's a nice thing to do.
• Sharers here don't make coupons, we just share what we find. This means begging us for more is unlikely to help. The course creator is the only person who can make coupons so you'd be better off messaging them on Udemy and asking them to share a new one.
• Ultimately commonsense wins out and these rules will probably change with time as they have before. If you want to review the old, outdated thread from 2014: http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-Udemy-Section-RULES-READ-THIS-FIRST
• This thread may change name and hence URL, this following link is permanent.
