We will clean our main list of Udemy courses (with all our bumps and requests only in one place), to only focus in new working coupons and limited time free courses, that now is more important because of the change of rules about coupons by Udemy: that now give less time and less coupons per month!


2)
It will be easier, useful and effective for Sharers and Authors to search for requests only in one thread! We could know what courses are more requested, to ask for more coupons to the authors!

Otherwise, as it is now, bumping a lot of courses are not helping at all; all requests are quickly forgotten! But now in one thread, your request will be seen, even just for curiosity and without the previous frustration about the bumps!

This will really help our community cleaning unnecessary bumps everywhere and the requests will be more effective in one place (you will have more chances to get more new coupons in this new way)!


3)
We will not bump with fear, distrust or prejudgement! We will not break our rules anymore; rules that clearly said that we can NOT bump old threads of courses that are not free now, not even to ask for new coupons!

Except 1 post only: "after any share (has over) there should be no more than 1 post saying a coupon is unavailable" as 饿死我了 said!

All bumps / requests are now accepted here in this thread only!

We will not give anymore a bad impression to the sharers, moderators and to all members that were very uncomfortable opening many bumped old unnecessary threads, that seemed to be new free coupons, but were not.

I can definitely stand behind this idea.

Personally, I feel like a lot of courses end up getting missed because people keep bumping threads, which results in the fresh ones getting knocked off the front page, then they return later and bump the thread they knocked off, or they'll return well after the course turned to paid.

At least with this idea/thread we can concentrate our efforts on which courses are in demand. This will make it easier to reach out to instructors for exclusive coupons. By giving coupons to people who will add value by leaving reviews, we can show instructors that we can be a resource to help build credibility instead of hit-and-run or collecting courses just because they're free.

If an instructor offers a course here, I make sure to leave a review. They were kind enough to offer an opportunity to help their growth, and I'll gladly do so. If the course isn't really that great I will reach out to the instructor with feedback, or I'll archive it if they don't respond.

We definitely MUST do this!

This bumping has been the bane of this section for way too long.

I think after any share there should be no more than 1 post saying a coupon is unavailable.

Some Simple Suggested Rules:

(1) No bumping coupon threads for requests.
(2) Requests for new coupons to be posted to the request thread only.
(3) Only one post to say all listed coupons for the course have expired.
  • No asking for a new coupon in the same post.
  • If someone else has posted it, you don't, one total!
(4) No posting a coupon has expired in a bundle thread unless every coupon has expired.

Keep up the effort angelcrc7!

Any bundle thread should not start with [GET], it shold start with [B] to make it clear that more than 1 course is being posted.
