@cpaguy184i: I see you're asking jack390941 to share information I just provided to him in a PM. Well, that's not good --- so ... what's the use of a private message? If I'd wanted to bandy it around on the public forum, as many posts as I've made here, I would have!!!

Just so you know, I specifically asked him not to share it and there's a very good reason for that.

I am building a reputation for helping others here and that includes helping YOU. Why didn't you just send me a PM?

To that point, I just sent you a PM. It has some links that may help you to get this kit (or a similar one) but I omitted the information I intended for the original poster only because there is something there that is intended for him only. In the PM, I explained to you why I did it this way.

Why not share it in the forum so everyone else can download it and you'll get reps for it instead of asking people to PM you?

Let me be clear --- this was a conversation between me and the original poster since he requested something I thought I could help HIM with.

Some people here hang around REQ threads to see what they can grab without so much as doing anything resourceful here. They TAKE and never SHARE. I don't know why the forum administrators here don't have a mechanism in place that, if you've been here more than a couple of years, you are limited in what you download unless you contribute something of value. It seems they put their energies in restricting accounts so people CAN'T rep others regularly ... and take down shares that might interfere with the profits of a complaining GB seller. It makes me sick to my stomach.

Firstly, I wrote you a PM explaining exactly why I did it this way. Still, you try to call me out publicly.

So, okay --- I'll indulge you.

I did it the way I chose to do it but if you must know, I sent him some test links that I converted using my own Real-Debrid account --- just to see if he was able to use the links. And he was.

I didn't want to be seen as "playing favorites." In the past, I've had several people send me premium links (one person sent a set of 24!) for me to convert for them. Not only was this bold to assume of me but pretty ballsy, I'd say. But there are lots of people here to have no qualms about asking for what they want ... but they contribute nothing.

I don't want my Real-Debrid links (associated with my PAID subscription) to be bandied all over the internet because once you share something, there is no controlling what others do with it.

I'm thinking, it's MY account --- I'll share a converted link or two with whomever I decide. Not the other way around.

Having too many hits on my converted links might get my account suspended and I've already lost a paid Ge.tt account trying to keep people here happy.

If someone can't afford to pay $35 for a 1-year subscription to Deepbrid, they have no business in internet marketing. People here are getting thousands of dollars in value free --- illegally --- you'd think they could scrap together a few dollars to pay for something like a premium link converter that leads to more downloads! So I reject those requests because I'm not trying to get a paid subscription banned ... again.

Secondly, I'm not asking "people" to PM me (as you said in your post). I asked the OP to do that because he requested this item and seemed in a hurry to get it; probably for a project he was working on.

As for reps, if you look at my rep count, you will see that I'm not starving for them and that's ONLY because I earned them by contributing. Most of my shares are in the public forum for the masses. Rarely do I ask someone to PM me ... and in the one recent instance I did it, I'm being asked why.

So, there. I've publicly explained it. This was a conversation between me and jack390941 --- not something I wanted to share with the masses.

I suggest that people like you, with less than 100 reps but have been around for 5 years or longer put your energy into helping more and you will get more than what you want. Stop wondering why people like me, who over-contribute, decided to make one little share a private affair.
