Yes, it has been my experience, too, that people will ask for mirrors or PM me to re-up without first thoroughly checking all the links within a mirrored share;
... or going through to the end of the thread to see if someone may have posted a working mirror lately;
... or even to try and find the item themselves!
One person recently requested via PM that I help him find a very expensive multi-gigabyte course and actually wrote that he "isn't good at (and doesn't have time to go) searching" for stuff. Keep in mind that this was for a product I have no interest in or need for. Yet, he asked me to spend my time to find download links for him --- like the forum is paying me to do this!
It just goes to show you the mind-set of some folks. It's baffling.
I'm not necessarily any more skilled than most here (and certainly less skilled than some in terms of hacking) ... I just enjoy a challenge and I get almost as much satisfaction from "the hunt" as "the find."
