Tried it but just opened a window saying FC Portables and then closed. Main program did not open. Any suggestions?

Double click the .pdf file and it works just fine.
I'm currently using it every day.

what pdf file are you talking about

Associate .pdf files with the app, then double click on ANY .pdf and it will open and function as advertised.

As I said I use this every day. I know it works.
