As a windows user, I learned to avoid the horrors of winrot by using as many portables as possible.

Lots of favourite paywares are sort of 'around' as w*r*z, which is really great.

Finding a new source of portables is always a delight for me and I just found this one today, and it has categories and plenty of stuff that others besides me may wish to try...I was just looking for a portable of JDownloader, and found this little gold mine instead !!


Are some of them paywares ??
Most likely - whether fixed or not I don't know yet and I'll be testing some tonight.

Seems they only port Freeware/FOSS (Free or Open Source Software).

I'm uncertain about the Freeware/FOSS part with that one just because the JDL from there is filled with options and griped about some sort of license thing (that I ignored and it still worked).

There are loads of w*r*z sites with portables too and I expect that most folks here know how to find them already.

This one was a surprise to me because it has several that I found noplace else.

Also, I avoid portableapps.com because the Haller guy in charge there runs it like he is the head of the gestapo !!
