Hey BBHF Family,

Just thought I'd add a little post to this section to help any of you who are getting a 403 Forbidden Error message when you're trying to download files from ZippyShare links.

I'm from the UK and it seems like my ISP is blocking any links from ZippyShare. Basically whenever I try to download I am faced with a 403 error page.

The fix is simple from my end, all I need to do is visit the download link using a VPN. Well in my case it is actually the orbot app which uses the tor network which is essentially the same thing. (I'm on a mobile 90% of the time!)

Anyway just thought I'd post this in here because I've seen a lot of posts in threads with Zippy links saying it doesn't work or please re upload.

If you're having trouble give this a little try. Hope it helps. If it does, drop a message in here to bump the thread to help others.

Have a good day.
Thanks mate repped you

No problem mate, did it work for you? It was pissing me off big time I couldn't understand why it would only work occasionally then I realized I had the tor browser running and it clicked haha
yes it worked was totally pissing me off i just couldnt understand it, so thanks again
I use Psiphon to bypass this simply install on your computer and when visiting a zippyshare link connect it and download then disconnect been using it awhile now but yes thanks for your share of information I am also from the UK :)

Download Link for Psiphon is:

Code:
https://www.psiphon3.com/en/download.html
Also from Germany, it's also blocked. To bypass, I simply used Opera as it has inbuilt VPN when I need to download something from zippy sites.
My guess is that it is not blocked by the ISP (since mine always tells you if it does that), but that Zippy decided to block the EU - perhaps they don't like GDPR.

For this I set up a proxy for the site in JDownloader. It is also possible to use Epic Privacy Browser - which has built in proxies, and is free.

You could actually be right about that, thinking about it... I usually get a message saying it is blocked if it's done by the ISP.

No problem mate, happy to be able to help a few people. You can actually use the orbot app to open .onion websites via chrome if you're ever interested
